So! I was advised to make a blog, that everyone back home can read! So I decided to actually do it... Hopefully I can update it about once a week or once every 2 weeks. I made one of these about a week ago, but I can't remember the password.. so this will be my official Blog site.. So bookmark it or whatever!
We started our sunday school programs 3 weeks ago. We are going strong! Reaching thousands of children and their families for Jesus. I am really starting to see the fruit of all the time we invest in these children.. The vision of metro ministries is "To see leaders, teachers, and pastors raised up from the streets of the cities world wide, so they in turn can minister to the next generation." It is really happening. More and more of the kids who grew up going to sunday school here...are raising up! and they are taking their own sidewalk sunday school sites, or bus routes .. its really cool so see the vision of this ministry actually happening.. I encourage you all to pray for me, for the people who work here, and most importantly the children who live here. Its nothing compared to anything I seen back in Louisiana... even in the ghetto areas there..
I will keep you updated about my site in the bronx and what God is doing there and with the children... Here are some pictures that i hope encourage you!
